Borough Hall offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday.

The Borough of Wyomissing reminds residents that Monday, January 26 is the final day for curbside Christmas tree collection for the season.
To ensure a smooth and efficient pickup, please place your tree at the curb no later than the morning of January 26 and be sure it is fully prepared for collection. All trees must be free of decorations and materials, including plastic bags, stands, ornaments, hooks, lights, tinsel, or any other attachments.
Please note that trees should not be placed in bags. Bagged trees will not be collected, as plastic and other materials interfere with the recycling and disposal process.
This service allows the Borough to safely and responsibly manage post-holiday cleanup while keeping streets and neighborhoods tidy. Residents who miss the final pickup date should make alternate arrangements for proper disposal.

The mission of the Berks County Solid Waste Authority is to manage solid waste and recyclable materials in an environmentally safe, reliable, and efficient manner, and these seasonal events are an important part of that commitment. By providing convenient drop-off opportunities, BCSWA helps keep harmful materials out of landfills and waterways while making proper disposal easier for residents.

Wyomissing has some of the best shopping and restaurants in the area. Easy access to Routes 422 and 222 contributes to a thriving commercial and retail center. The residents and visitors of Wyomissing are always safe and secure due to the dedicated Public Safety Departments. The Borough has two terrific school districts and a first-rate library. In addition to the variety of education opportunities, Wyomissing maintains over 350 acres of wonderfully maintained parkland. Whether you are interested in running, hiking, or observing nature along the Wyomissing Creek, the system of park trails in Wyomissing has something for everyone.
The Borough also offers four playgrounds; Wyomissing Hills, Berkshire Heights, Happy Hollow, and the Mausoleum playground located in all sections. The playgrounds all offer playground equipment, with some providing pavilions, sports courts and ball fields to further promote family and youth recreation. Beyond the extensive park system, the Parks and Recreation Department of Wyomissing holds annual events such as the Egg Hunt, Earth Day, Fishing Rodeo, Memorial and Independence Day Parades, Concerts and Movies in the Park. These gatherings and celebrations foster community and build spirit and confidence, and are held at designated Borough park locations.
